Our Fit and Fed programme offers fun physical activities and nutritious, healthy meals to some of society’s most vulnerable young people. We aim to put food and fitness a the heart of the community. The aim is to minimise food poverty while engaging with the community. Fit and Fed offers multi-sport physical activity sessions combined with educational lifestyle workshops and presentations, quizzes and competitions. All abilities are welcome to all sessions with separate sessions for different ages (primary and secondary day camps).

Our sessions will be based at Riccall Regen centre which we have previously used to good effect and now has a growing reputation for offering holiday club services within the local community at the heart of the community. The site offers ideal facilities for holiday activity camps with indoor and outdoor facilities and an in-house catering team able to provide cooked meals, snacks and refreshments. With the range of tasks and sporting opportunities available set in a relaxed social setting the aim for young people to make friends, develop social skills and increase or maintain physical activity levels. Children will be signposted to join local clubs following the 6-week summer programme.

Cost £15 / day or Free of charge to those children eligible for free school meals.
